1.        Saving test data: you should save test data as soon as you complete a test for each eye (and each lid in Meibography). You can move from eye to eye and test to test without saving the data and come back to complete/save test data but it is not good practice as you may lose data.
    1. Use the Save button on the main toolbar as soon as a test is complete. As long as an Exam is open i.e. you have not closed the Exam Window, you can come back and re-do any test or recall the data in any test. Even if you have closed the exam window you can reopen it for retesting from the patient data form as explained in sections 2.11 to 2.13 provided you reopen it within 24 hours. There is very little chance of accidental data loss.
    2. The status of saving of tests can be seen from the status bar at the bottom of the Exam Window

The left part of the status bar gives save status test-wise, eye-wise and lid-wise

  1. All saved data from any Exam can be re-opened from the Patient Window (section 2)
  2. To end an exam, you need to save all tests by clicking the Save button and then clicking the Generate report button on the main toolbar or by closing the Exam window to go back to the Patient Data form. The navigation pathways for the entire OSDx® application is given below
